Imprisoned by our own thoughts

   Fear is the guard, caged lies the thoughts
   the gate is closed to the world outside
   troubled thoughts are waiting for their turn

   the guard is appointed by heart
   the brain is the cage providing the space
   imprisoned thoughts are judged by time

   Time is playing wicked games
   the thoughts are being tested hard
   guards are ordered to filter the thoughts
   the thoughts are lost, words are free

   The day will come when time will change
   strength will win over fear
   open will be the gate
   the world will then witness the change
